All parenting students who need to breastfeed or express milk for their child while on campus can utilize a range of private, secure lactation rooms located throughout the university. You can find a list of locations of these facilities below. It's important to note that all Lactation Stations are available for use by parents of any gender, and we have indicated which ones are ADA-compliant and wheelchair accessible.
Lactation stations are private rooms on campus that can be used for breastfeeding or pumping. They are lockable, comfortable, equipped with a chair and table, and electrical outlet. CSUDH has 6 designated Lactation Stations on campus:
- Loker Student Union, main floor (MAMAVA Lactation Pod)
- Download the MAMAVA app to make a reservation and receive your MAMAVA CODE to unlock the pod
- All-Gender
- ADA-compliant and wheelchair accessible
- University Library, 3rd floor
- Make a reservation here and visit the Technology and Logistical Services (TLS) desk in Library South Room: 2039
- A Student Assistant or Staff will show you to the room and unlock the door

- Innovation and Instruction, 3rd floor (Room: 3409) and 4th floor (Room: 4418)
